Marcia Gay Harden
Marcia Gay Harden was born on the 14th of August 1959, in La Jolla, California, the fifth child of five. Their mother, Beverly (Bushfield) had been a homemaker, and her father, Thad Harold Harden a soldier. Families moved oftenShe first began to be interested in acting when her family moved to Greece, and she had seen plays in Athens. Harden started her education in American universities in Europe before returning to the US to finish her study at the University of Texas in 1983 and then earned an MFA from NYU after which she, embarked on her acting career. Miller's Crossing was the Coen Brothers humorous homage to the 1990 film about gangsters, Miller's Crossing. Although Harden had appeared in movies since 1986 (in the less-known The Imagemaker), she appeared as a seductive woman in the film as her debut mainstream role. Harden was recognized for her sexy performance in Verna. Harden continued to work steadily as a supporting actor, acting as Ava Gardner in Sinatra (92) which was a biopic made for TV that portrayed Frank Sinatra.
